For over 45 years Mercato has been providing fresh Italian ingredients and ready-made meals to Calgarians through our Market.  In fact, Mercato (“market” in Italian) began as a family-run grocery in Bridgeland, where Mamma Cathy and Victor cultivated fresh ingredients, and shared old recipes.

Today, aside from our location, not much has changed in our market. Our family works together to deliver delicious lunches, heat-and-serve meals, fresh pasta with homemade sauces, fresh bread, produce, and specialty items like meats, cheeses and antipasti to the Calgary community every single day.
